That's a Wrap!

About a month ago, thanks to the generosity of local businesses and artists,  Engedi Refuge was able to host our first ever virtual silent auction! This was our first event since our “Restoring Hope” gala last March.  Like all other non-profits and businesses in 2020, we have had to adapt, and we are thrilled to report it was a huge success!

 We gathered virtually with over a hundred guests, we were able to raise over ten thousand dollars in just a matter of a few hours! Prizes auctioned off ranged from complimentary services from local businesses, overnight stays at the Inn at Lynden, spa services, art, and our big item of the night; a private salmon fishing charter for four! Our top bid went for $1,607! We can't thank everyone enough for being a part of our first ever virtual auction, we hope to have our Gala in person next year but with this experience under our belts we'll be ready to make our event even bigger and better no matter the format!
